Dr. Summers completed his studies at LeTourneau University in Texas (Masters in Marital and Family Counseling) and George Fox University in Oregon (Doctorate in Clinical Psychology). He has been practicing full time since his internship at Central Washington Family Medicine (Yakima, WA) in 2019.

Dr. Summers utilizes interventions based in Acceptance and Commitment therapy and emphasizes using appointment time efficiently & effectively.  He  works with adolescents through older adults covering a wide variety of concerns and issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, obsessive-compulsive, eating disorders, relationship problems, sleep problems and chronic pain. Dr. Summers completed his post-doctoral training under the supervision of Dr. Angelone and is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of New Jersey.

Having grown up in Texas and spent most of his adult life on the West Coast in Oregon and Washington State, Dr. Summers is excited about taking in the rich history of the East Coast. He has nine tennis rackets (and has played tennis since early childhood), four dogs (which is too much dog hair to keep up with) and one wonderful fiance/soon-to-be wife.
