Dr. Kimberlee Wendel

Dr. Wendel was born and raised in New Jersey. She moved to Philadelphia and completed her Master’s degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Counseling and Clinical Health Psychology with a concentration in addiction and offender counseling. She completed her doctoral training in Chicago, Illinois at Adler University. Dr. Wendel has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, forensic settings, community mental health, and college counseling.

She approaches therapy from a Cognitive Behavioral perspective and believes therapy is a collaborative approach that is individualized for each person to maximize effectiveness. Her clinical interests include mood disorders, substance use disorders, anxiety disorders, forensics, and grief and loss.

 

She currently holds a permit to practice in the state of New Jersey and is working towards licensure under the supervision of Dr. Angelone.
