Dr DJ Angelone

Dr. Angelone has been living and working in South Jersey since completing his Doctoral degree from Kent State University in 2004. He has worked in a variety of treatment settings including hospital based inpatient/intensive outpatient units, community mental health, college counseling centers, and private practice. He is currently licensed in the state of New Jersey. 

Dr. Angelone works with individuals across the lifespan, emphasizing adolescents and adults seeking treatment for anxiety, depression, anger, trauma/PTSD, couples/marital distress, adjustment issues, and addictions. He provides treatment using a Cognitive-Behavioral basis along with solution focused and positive psychology models. He is a Professor of Psychology at Rowan University, is the director of the Aggression, Substance and Sexuality Research Team, and maintains research expertise in sexual behavior and substance use.
